ATTEMPT TO BAN MISERABLE PEOPLE
Muzzle the Miseries

The Press Council has announced that pictures of poor unfortunate people in newspapers are all getting a bit much. The Reckless couldn't agree more.

Hardly a day goes by without some poor mug suffering some awful catastrophe. If they're one of the great unwashed that makes it even worse because you have to look at their ugly mugs in the paper looking distraught.

This is made worse on TV news where the poor sods are inevitably shot leafing through a photograph album, forlornly pausing poignantly over snaps of their recently departed.

We here at the Reckless are heartily sick of such behaviour and want ugly ill-dressed oiks banned immediately from appearing anywhere near the public gaze.

I mean, urgh, it puts ye aff yer Wheetos.
